What is the School Management App?
It is a ready-built app for primary and upper primary schools. Staff use it to keep the student register, mark attendance, set homework, enter marks, track fees and log parent contact. Parents get their own view-only page for their child.
Who can log in?
There are five roles: Principal, Teacher, Office Admin, Technical Admin and Parent. Each role sees only the tools it needs. Teachers join with a code shared by the principal.
Can parents change anything?
No. Parents can see their own child's attendance, homework, marks and fee status, but the page is view only.
How does it decide which children need follow-up?
A child is flagged when they are absent 3 or more times in 7 days, or 7 or more times in 30 days. The count comes straight from the attendance teachers mark each day.
Does it send WhatsApp messages on its own?
No. A teacher taps WhatsApp to open a chat with a ready-made message on their own phone, and decides whether to send it. Only parents who gave WhatsApp consent can be messaged this way.
Do we need computers or special devices?
No. The app works in the browser on ordinary smartphones, and on computers too if you have them.
Can it match our classes and subjects?
Yes. In School Setup you set your own academic year, classes, sections and subjects, and these fill the choices across the app.
